Sadrusham Foundation has been at the forefront of promoting voluntary blood donation through our bi-annual Blood Donation Camps. What started as a small community effort has now grown into a life-saving mission that supports children battling Thalassemia and other critical illnesses.
In collaboration with Rashtrothana Blood Bank, our camps ensure a steady and safe supply of blood for children who require regular transfusions to survive. Every pint collected represents not just blood – but hope, compassion, and the promise of life.
A Lifeline for Thalassemia Warriors ❤️
For children with Thalassemia, life is an ongoing battle against fatigue and pain caused by the lack of healthy red blood cells.
Most require blood transfusions every 2 – 3 weeks, and without timely donors, their lives are constantly at risk.
Sadrusham’s Blood Donation Camps directly address this need by connecting voluntary donors with Thalassemia kids, ensuring a continuous and reliable source of compatible blood.
Our initiative also raises awareness about rare blood disorders, safe donation practices, and the importance of regular donors in saving countless lives.
